It's a really blue sky day. Both boys slept through the night and we're rejoicing in that! Lots of chores to do around the house and yard. We're11111111111111 (thanks Gates), having a good morning.

It's afternoon now and I just got back to my blog for today's post. Busy day but lots of family time. The little guys played outside all morning. There is nothing like a little wading pool full of water and a few shovels full of dirt to keep two four year old's busy for hours! There was so much laughter and running and silliness. Paul and Brian were installing new siding on one side of the house where they had removed a side door last week in what is now the boy's room. They had the hammer drills going and all sorts of facinating construction related activity happening. Chari spent a lot of quality time with all of her siblings. We really enjoyed their company and help we also felt a little sad because the original plan for today was that we would be moving them into their new home today. The closing has been delayed and we are all praying for early in the new week!

Gates is using his Chinese less. He is transitioning to more English but rather than mix the two languages he is making nonsense noises and using gestures. It seems as if he is thinking, "why annunciate you people don't understand any way so he has been clicking his tongue and pointing or blowing rasberries and shrugging his shoulders... stuff like that. It's really rather ingenius I think that he has come up with a non language language rather than going the route of being nonverbal which is common during this phase. Our little man just has too much to say to be quiet even if nobody understands his words.
