Gates and Bridger Are Rocking the House Down!

The Boys are really enjoying each other. Jumping on the bed, crashing dump trucks and chuckling at Shaun the Sheep. Right now they are having pancakes for dinner and Bridger is showing Gates how to use his fork. (In orphanage it's hands only or caregiver shovels, takes too long to let them self feed when you have 4 workers and a hundred or so kids.)It's so great to hear his patient coaching. "You just pick out a big piece of pancake and then you STAB it." Gates jumped at the "Stab" because it was so loud and then he laughed instead of crying. Daddy is upright and eating but still rather subdued in his jet lag fog. Gates keeps looking at him like, "What Happened to you?! You were so fun yesterday!" Thankfully Big Brother is moving into Gates's perceived 'safe circle' so as long as Dad is in sight wherever he is sleeping. Gates is cool. He's started seeking me out in the house this afternoon when he needed his nose wiped or some brother has my hot wheels intervention.
