UPDATE from CHINA

Today we received a response to our request for any kind of update on Gates. The orphanage was unable to provide a recent update but the information they had from his last one was more recent than what we had. He is 37 inches tall. It says, "He can speak in words and even sentences. (This is HUGE! As institutionalized children often do not speak.) He eats whatever is put in front of him. (not surprising where food is scarce), he likes to play with toys. He is a shy boy... and DRUM ROLL PLEASE. He is walking!!!!!!!
