KW Sale and Celebration!

Hi everybody! We are happy to announce that regardless of heavy equipment and construction blockades along our only access road. God revelaed himself as more than able at the KWCares "Bring Gates Home" Yard Sale/Cookout! Drum roll please ... $1,973! Adding that to the rained out car wash where we washed the cars that belonged to the volunteers and my precious friend Rachel and one other guy AND the Keller Williams Thursday Hot Dog/Sausage/Bratwurst Lunch Specials... they've raised $2,600 toward their goal.

I must say I have never seen so much personality contained in one parking lot in my life! Enthusaism, showmanship, merchandising tactics and an abundance of people skills... stunned and amazed me from the KWCares team. When Paul and I walked around thanking the volunteers it was clear that there is a tangible emotional connection from these wonderful people toward our Gates. They are very motivated to save this child!

We opened with prayer and closed with prayer and thanked Our God for his glorious working in us to save a little guy who has impacted all of our lives so profoundly. On the other side of the world Gates thinks he's alone. He doesn't know that there is a whole community of friends and family waiting to welcome him and working to bring him home!

How wonderful, to see such love and support for your sweet child. Someday he will learn of all the hands that helped bring him home. What a blessing, God's provision for the special little guy!
