May Day

It's twenty days into May. I always believed we would have travel approval by the end of May.

My hope is in the Lord. My delight is in his promises written on my heart. "I will never leave you." "Love never fails" "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." "Call on me and I will answer you and show you mighty things you never knew." "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, don't lean on your own understanding. In everything you do acknowledge God and he will direct your path. Trust in the Lord, wait patiently for him and he will give you the desires of your heart."

We receive God's word like cool water for our thirsty souls as we wait and trust and lean and love... in His name. He is called Father to the Fatherless, Creator, Advocate, High Priest and Almighty. It's not a risk to believe him... he defined faithful.

Please pray for Bridger. He is sleeping with Brother's toys and fixing the pillow next to him each night. He tells us that Gates is crying for him. He tells us that Gates isn't happy and that he needs to come home 'right now'. He is angry at us for continuing to wait. He talks about rescuing his little Brother with a helicopter. We are all way past ready to bring him home. If we aren't there by July... we MUST be there before he turns four! When we received pre approval to adopt him he was just two years old, the four year old deadline seemed so far away. Now it's just weeks from now. Thank you for praying and preparing for praising your guts out! God is able!
